Obituary of Daniel Louis Baldwin

Daniel Louis Baldwin, age 66, of Dallas, Texas passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Select Specialty Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Danny was born on June 6, 1954 in Pittsburg, Kansas to Harry and Catherine (Peak) Baldwin. He grew up in Coffeyville, Kansas where he graduated high school. He went on to further his education at Pittsburg State University. Prior to his recent retirement, he spent forty years working in Business Development. Danny was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving to cherish his memory are his siblings, Father Michael Baldwin of Wichita, Kansas; Marilyn (Jim) Hendrix, David (Cindy) Baldwin of Coffeyville, Kansas; Barbara (Dan) Statuto, Rebecca (Kevin) McMurray of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Danny is also survived by eight nieces/nephews, eight (soon to be nine) great-nieces/nephews, and his two dearly beloved dogs, Zuke and Dart. Danny is survived by many others that extend far beyond family. He had life-long friends, young and old, and every stranger he encountered was soon welcomed into his wide circle of dear friends. Danny was caring, thoughtful, and hugely generous – taking care of the needs of so many; many of whom we will never even know. His great humor and loud, boisterous laugh (Eeeehhhh) that filled every room will be fondly remembered by all. A private family service will be held at Holy Name Catholic Church on October 31, 2020 with inurnment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Coffeyville. Memorial services will be held in Kansas and Dallas at a later date when gathering is appropriate.
