Obituary of Daniel Nathan Bauder

Daniel Nathan Bauder was born on August 7, 1957 in Belleville, Illinois to Robert and Louise (Herzog) Bauder. He grew up in Belleville where he attended school. He attended Hannibal-LaGrange University in Missouri and East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, Texas. On March 3, 1979 he was united in marriage to Debra "Debbie" Dobson in Marshall, Texas. Daniel was a school bus driver before becoming a minister. He was a Chaplain for the Sheriff's Department in Osage County, Missouri, and the Pastor at Solid Rock Baptist Church and at the Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church in Coffeyville since August of this year. He enjoyed playing the guitar, singing and talking with friends and family. He loved the time he spent surrounded by those he loved and cared about. Surviving to honor his memory are his loving wife, Debbie of the home; daughter, Melissa Pogue and husband, George of Rolla, Missouri; son, Jonathan Bauder of Jefferson City, Missouri; three grandchildren; siblings, Stephenie Bauza of Caseyville, Illinois, Robin Bauder of St. Louis, Missouri, Deborah Maue and husband, Ken of St. Charles, Missouri, Eric Bauder and wife, Jean of O'Fallon, Illinois, Adam Bauder and wife, Jacqueline of Webster Groves, Missouri and Laura Freed and husband, David of St Augustine, Florida. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Louise Bauder and by his brother, John Bauder. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at David W Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville, Kansas. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church in Coffeyville. Following Daniel's wishes, cremation will take place following the service. The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital; these may be left with the funeral home or mailed in care of David W Barnes Funeral Home 306 N Cline Rd Coffeyville, Kansas 67337.
