Terry Ann Savala, age 61, of Dearing, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at her home. Terry was born on September 19, 1959 in Iola, Kansas to Ed and Donna (Schauf) Sherwood. She attended school in Humboldt and Coffeyville. She graduated from Field Kindley High School in Coffeyville and attended Pittsburg State University. On September 1, 1990 she married Clifford "Cliff" Savala in Coffeyville, Kansas where the couple made their home. Terry worked for the USD 445 School Board Office as a Duplicating Clerk. She enjoyed sports, especially basketball and liked coaching softball for several years for the Coffeyville Rec Center. Surviving to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Cliff Savala of the home; daughter, Falan Savala; siblings, Debra Torres and husband, Roy, Dennis Sherwood, Vickie Bayles and husband, Bob, Jim Sherwood; sister-in-law, Donna Sherwood. Terry was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Donna Sherwood; brother, Randy Sherwood and sister, Paula Hensley. Following Terry's wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of David W Barnes Funeral Home of Coffeyville, Kansas. No public services are scheduled at this time.
