Obituary of Brandon Duane Smith

Brandon Duane Smith, 42, of Coffeyville passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. He was born on May 7, 1978 in Neodesha, Kansas to Howard Duane and JoAnn (Willard) Smith, Jr. Brandon grew up and attended school in Coffeyville. On November 13, 1999 he married the love of his life Michelle Hufferd at Southview Church of God in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. Following their marriage they made their home in Coffeyville where Brandon worked as office assistant at SEK Health Care since 2011. Brandon attended Southview Church of God. In his spare time he enjoyed playing bass guitar and drawing, and loved spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Michelle Smith of the home; his parents, Howard and JoAnn Smith of Coffeyville; one brother, Justin Smith and wife, Charity of Owasso, Oklahoma; and twelve nieces and nephews that he adored. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the Southview Church of God, in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma with Pastor Albertis Bray officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery north of Coffeyville. Visitation will be held on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at David W Barnes Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Southview Church of God; these can be left with the funeral home or mailed in care of David W Barnes 306 N Cline Rd.
