Patricia L. (Simmons) Hare, age 80, of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Journey Home Hospice in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Pat was born on October 18, 1940 in Farmersville, Texas to Ottis and Florence (Nelson) Sisco. She was a loving and caring person. She dedicated her life to taking care of others. Not only did she care for her home and her family but she also worked the majority of her life as a home health nurse. Pat was united in marriage to Tommy Moore, of that union one child, Sammy was born. The couple later divorced. In 1959 she was united in marriage to Dean Simmons. Of that union, two children, Tesa and Maria were born. The couple later divorced. Pat later got remarried to Albert W. “Dub” Hare, Jr. They blended their families together as they both had children from previous relationships; this formed one big happy family. He preceded her in death on May 19, 2003. Pat touched the lives of all those around her. She loved her animals; she enjoyed driving her car around to visit friends so they could chat or to go get a bite to eat. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Sammy J. Moore of Texas, Tesa Clark, Maria Hansen, Cheyenne Simmons and Micha Simmons all of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; siblings, Dorothy Sisco, H. W. Sisco and Jack Sisco. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, A.H. and Florence Sisco and by her husband, A.W. “Dub” Hare. A private family viewing has taken place followed by cremation. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date at the Harrisonville Cemetery in Montgomery County, Kansas. The family suggests that contributions can be made to David W Barnes Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses. These can be left with the funeral home or mailed to David W Barnes Funeral Home 306 N Cline Rd. Coffeyville, KS 67337.
