Jon Charles Clough, age 62, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Jon was born on March 4, 1958 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Charles G. "Pug" and Jacquelyn "Jackie" (Lankard) Clough. He grew up in Coffeyville where he attended local schools and graduated from Field Kindley Memorial High School. Jon furthered his education by going to Pittsburg State University and Emporia State University where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business.
On February 21, 1986 Jon married the love of his life, Mary Adamson in Coffeyville. The couple made their home in Coffeyville where they raised their children. Jon was Co-Owner of Clough Oil Company
Jon was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Coffeyville. He was an active member of the Shire Club, Keystone Masonic Lodge #102 A.F. & A.M., Scottish Rite, Rotary Club, and Leadership Coffeyville. Jon enjoyed golfing, hunting and coached many different youth sports. Most of all he loved the time he spent surrounded by his family and close friends.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Mary Clough of the home; children, Monica, Cindy, Katie, Shanise, Clathon and Daryl; his mother, Jackie Clough of Coffeyville, Kansas; sisters, Cindy (David) Baldwin and Nancy (Kendall) Garton all of Coffeyville, Kansas; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends. Jon was preceded in death by his father, Pug Clough.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 22, 2021, at the First United Methodist Church in Coffeyville with Pastor Nicole Schwartz-Eck of Pratt, Kansas officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Coffeyville.
Friends may call on Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Coffeyville Boys and Girls Club or the Coffeyville Historical Society; contribution may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
