Phyllis June Ralston passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 in Chanute, Kansas. June was born July 17, 1945 in Parsons, Kansas, the daughter of Oscar Loren and Phyllis E. (Kendall) Williams. She attended Parsons High School. She moved to Coffeyville in 1968 and worked at Walmart, Elmores IGA and Kanoma Coop, retiring in 2008 to care for her husband. She was active in the Montgomery County Democratic Party, serving as a precinct chairperson. She loved bowling and playing golf, but most important she loved her family and enjoyed spending every possible minute with them. On March 10, 1967, she married Billy R. Pugh in Miami, Oklahoma, and they were later divorced. She married Bill Ralston on March 11, 1985, and he preceded her in death in 2013. She is survived by three children, Kelli Williams of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Lisa Barrager of Coffeyville, Kansas, David Pugh and wife Pam of Moran, Kansas; five step-children, Victor Ralston and wife Diane of Englewood, Ohio, Rhonda Cramer, Shelly Perez and husband Martin, Shawn Ralston, all of Parsons, Kansas and Wesley Ralston of Cherryvale, Kansas; seventeen grandchildren; twenty one great-grandchildren and one sister, Wanda Simmons of Alluwe, Oklahoma. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Mary Bransford of Wichita, Kansas and Rose Ward of St. Paul, Kansas. Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Robbins Cemetery, County Road 1675 west of Coffeyville. Reverend Kelley Becker will officiate. Friends may sign the guest register from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Monday, April 5, 2021 at David W Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
