Obituary of Krystelle Rene' Cress

Krystelle Rene’ Cress, age 57, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at her home. Krystelle was born on April 21, 1964 in Santa Cruz, California to Gary L. Hadley and Scottia "Scottie" S. (Snyder) Lenertz. She grew up in the Derby, Kansas area where she attended school. In 1993 she was united in marriage to John Cress in Winfield, Kansas. Krystelle spent her time taking care of her family and home. The couple had been together twenty years when John passed away in 2013. Krystelle enjoyed crafts, adult coloring books and painting; she also loved Christmas. She loved the holiday from the decorations and festivities to the gatherings and everything revolving around Christmas. She loved it so much she even named her dog Christmas. Krystelle loved the time she spent with her family and friends and she will be missed by all that knew her. Surviving to honor her memory are her father, Gary Hadley and wife, Geri of Indianola, Iowa; daughter, Shiann Hadley and fiance' Justin Rhoads of Independence, Kansas; sisters, Deanna Carlson and husband, Scott of Hayward, Wisconsin, Julie Moses of Coffeyville, Kansas; brother, Joe Hadley and wife, Cheryl of Des Moines, Iowa; she was preceded in death by her mother, Scottie Lenertz; son, Robert Simpson and brother-in-law; Danny Moses. A Memorial Service will be held by the family on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 1:00pm at Grace Fellowship in Coffeyville, Kansas. Pastor Doug Mund will officiate. Cremation has taken place under the direction of David W Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
