Mary Marie Perry, age 55, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center in Coffeyville, Kansas. Mary was born on June 29,1965 in Nowata, Oklahoma to Harry and Bessie Mae (Hadley) Sharpe. She attended school in rural Nowata County and graduated from Wann High School. Mary furthered her education at Labette Community College where she earned her LPN and RN certifications. She worked for Medicalodges, Windsor Place and Craig Home Health Care. Mary was a member of the First Church of God in Coffeyville. She was also an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Mary enjoyed deer hunting, bowling, shooting pool and most of all family gatherings. Anyone who knew Mary knew her undeniable love for her family. She always reminded them she loved them to the moon and back 10 million times. Her life revolved around her children and later her grandchildren were the light of her life. Although nursing and caring for others was her passion, family was always her greatest achievement. Mary is survived by her children, Robert Perry II of Wichita, Kansas, La Tonya Toland and husband Michael of Linden, Tennessee, Jamie Perry and wife, Jessica of Dearing, Kansas; grandchildren, McKenzey Harris, Ashlynn Perry, Ma Kayla Perry, Trenten Huston, Breanna Huston, Espan Perry; siblings, Harry Sharpe Jr. of St. Paul, Minnesota, Robert Sharpe of Waldren, Arkansas, Carol Fisher of Kansas City, Missouri, Billy Sharpe of Coffeyville, Jimmy Sharpe of Delaware, Oklahoma and Mable Ann Rexwinkle of Coffeyville, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Bessie Sharpe; husband, Robert Perry; son, Richard Perry and sister, Charlotte Bryant. Cremation has taken place under the direction of David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville, Kansas. The family will hold a memorial service on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Church of God. Pastor Mark Wilson will officiate. The family will have a dinner following the service at the church.
