Obituary of Dennis Trisler

Dennis Trisler passed away September 2, 2021, at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa while battling declining health for several years. He was born in 1945 in Shattuck, OK to Kenneth and Maxine Trisler. Dennis grew up in Liberal, KS and graduated from Kansas State University, where he met Kathleen Jackson, whom he married on February 3, 1968. They lived in North Carolina for a time before moving to Laverne, OK, relocating to Olathe, KS, and finally settling in Coffeyville, KS. He worked for John Deere Coffeyville Works for 20 years until his retirement in 2009. Dennis enjoyed fishing, camping, doing crossword puzzles, and playing pitch. He will be remembered for his generosity, quick wit, and unique sense of humor. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Viola, and brother Robert. Dennis is survived by his wife Kathleen and children: Chris Stacey, Rachel Trisler, Nathan Trisler (wife Mileivi), Joshua Trisler (wife Celia), and Gretchen Sandoval (husband David). He is also survived by four grandchildren: Sydney Brinker, Noah and Jonah Trisler, and Emma Sandoval as well as one great-granddaughter Katy Brinker. He is also survived by his brothers Roy and Albert (Butch) and sisters Martha and Kim as well many nieces and nephews and other extended family.
