Jedidiah “Jed” Zeus Gibbons, 31, of Coffeyville passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 at his home. He was born on September 26, 1989 at Parsons, Kansas to Jon Charles Gibbons and Lee Ann Gingery. Jed grew up and attended school in Oswego, Altamont and Coffeyville, he completed his education at Field Kindley High School in Coffeyville. Jed was currently enrolled in the Welding Program at Coffeyville Community College. He enjoyed fishing, electronics, shooting guns, listening to music, and being outdoors. But his greatest joy was to spend time with his family and friends, especially his children. Survivors include his three children, Gracie Gibbons, Elijah Zeus Gibbons, and Jazmyn Gibbons; his mother, Lee Ann Gingery; his companion, Kacee Kirk; siblings, Jonathan Gibbons, Joanna Sisco, Jessica Gibbons, Clinton Gingery, and Joseph Gingery, and step-brother, James Gray; and maternal grandparents, Andrew and Linda Gingery. He was preceded in death by his father, Jon Gibbons; step-father, Jimmie Dee Gray; and paternal grandparents. The Family will have a Memorial Service celebrating Jed’s life at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Agape’ Fellowship Church, 501 East 9th St., Coffeyville, Kansas with Pastor Kevin O’Connor officiating. Following Jed’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a balloon release at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, September 26th in the parking lot at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
