Barbara, I am so saddened to just hear of Ron’s passing. He was always such a great friend to me for 35 years plus. He always tried guiding me when I needed guided, never turned his back on me when most did, always believed in me when I didn’t. I am blessed to have had him as a friend all those years. I simply can’t fathom your pain. I will leave you with this. I would not be alive today if not for Ron. He always had a way to know when someone was in crisis even though they didn’t know it themselves. I thank god for allowing my friendship with this man. He jokingly said to me many times I’d miss him when he was gone. He was right.

We were shocked to hear of Ron's death, at our 50th FKHS class reunion Saturday night! I expected and hoped he would attend. We were classmates and neighborhood friends since Garfield elementary, and Ron has been in many of my childhood stories. I have wonderful, fun memories of Ron growing up. I was sorry to hear about Ron’s recent passing. He and I were HS classmates and I have only positive memories of him. He was a nice guy with a pleasant sense of humor and a fine athlete. May the memories of your time with him comfort you as you move forward without his physical presence.
