I attended the church in Coffeyville when Brother and Sister Haynes were there. They are wonderful, caring people. When I think of true Christians, they are the people I think of. His greeting was always "praise the Lord" and his joyful spirit will be missed. Love you, Sister Haynes.

Junior (or Jack as I called him) was always a kind soul that treat his younger cousin (me) with respect and love. I have not seen him in over six decades, but he with alway have a special place in my heart. RIP Jack, you are with Jesus now.

So sorry to hear about the loss of Bro. Haynes. We have always loved and appreciated you folks so much. Sis.Haynes, I know the pain you are feeling. Today is three months since I lost the love of my life. No one will even know that pain until they have lost their life long partner. The only way that I have been able to bare this pain thus far has been the prayers of God’s wonderful people. God is our only help during this time. Lord bless you and know that I love you and will pray for you. Sis. Potter

Bro Haynes was my Pastor in Wheeler, Alabama during the middle to late 1970's- through the early 1980's. He had such a wonderful sense of humor and you never could tell when he was being very serious or just pulling your leg. He was very easy to relate to. Being a confused teenager I struggled with trying to find adults that I could relate to but as luck would have it I found a friend in Bro Haynes. He helped me to sort things out before my crazy thoughts led me down a road of destruction.
