Obituary of Pearl Deanna Hannah

Please share a memory of Pearl to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Pearl "Dee" Deanna Hannah, age 58, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. Dee was born on February 5, 1963 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Clifford "Squirt" Bartholomew and Nellie Lou (Laney) Bartholomew. She grew up in Coffeyville where she attended local schools. Dee was a hard worker and did many things throughout her life. While living in Coffeyville she worked for Rob's BBQ, she then moved to Oklahoma City where she worked for Braums and Arby's. When she returned to Coffeyville she spent many years working for Windsor Place Nursing Home. She worked in housekeeping, she did so well that she was promoted to head of housekeeping. Most recently she has been a constant caregiver to her significant other, Jim. As a young adult she met and married Robert Jabben, of that union one child was born. The couple later divorced. She then went on to marry Bob Hannah and after a few years together they too later divorced. In 1997 she met and began a relationship with Jim Lacey and they have been together ever since. Jim survives to cherish her memory. Dee attended church at the Agape' Fellowship Church in Coffeyville and was part of one of their prayer groups. She loved to go fishing for catfish, gardening, camping which she was still doing up until just shortly before she fell ill, most of all she enjoyed riding her motorcycle that her son, David built for her, a green custom painted mini Harley bike that she was riding up until the very day before she passed. Dee always loved the rain and thunderstorms and had always felt a special connection and an inner tranquility with them; it seemed more than a coincidence to her family that the morning she became sick, a rainstorm developed in the area and as the storm eased and began to clear, Dee was called home to be with the Lord. Surviving to honor Dee's memory are her husband, Jim Lacey of Coffeyville, Kansas; her loving son, David Hannah of Coffeyville; a grandchild, Madison Jaylynn Hannah; siblings, Linda Bartholomew and companion, Larry Pummel of Vinita, Oklahoma, Nancy Bend of Wichita, Kansas, Vickie Carter and husband, Chuck of Pittsburg, Kansas; several cousins, nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by father, Squirt Bartholomew; mother, Nellie (Laney) Bartholomew-Hill; brother, James "Russell" Bartholomew. Following Dee's wishes, cremation will take place under the direction of David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville, Kansas. No public services are scheduled at this
