Obituary of Janice Kay Clark

Janice Kay Clark, 80, of Coffeyville Kansas passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021, at Medicalodge of Coffeyville.
She was born on August 6, 1941, in Coffeyville to Orlo and Mary (McClure) Cessna. Janice grew up and attended school in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma and completed her education graduating from Lenapah High School in Lenapah, Oklahoma.
On March 31, 1962, she was united in marriage with the love of her life, Ronald Eugene Clark. Following their marriage, they made their home in the Coffeyville Kansas and South Coffeyville Oklahoma area where they raised their five children.
Janice's most important job was being a wife, mother and grandmother. During her working years she was employed at the Coffeyville Journal and Haliburton in Coffeyville and later at Reda Pump in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Janice was a member of Emmanuel Chapel in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. She enjoyed crocheting, and years ago enjoyed bowling in a bowling league, but her greatest joy was being surrounded by her family.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald Clark Sr of Coffeyville; her children, Lori Rexwinkle and husband, Justin of Afton, Oklahoma, Lisa Holeman and husband, Chris of Coffeyville, Kansas, Teresa Lundy and husband, Curtis of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, and Ronnie Clark, Jr., of Delaware, Oklahoma; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Orlo and Mary Cessna; one daughter, Julie Diane Clark; one brother, Tom Cessna; one sister, Judi Stevens, and one granddaughter, Kristin Michelle Lundy.
A Memorial Service celebrating Janice's life will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Emmanuel Chapel, 312 Broadway, South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, with Pastor James Feltner officiating. Following Janice's wishes cremation has taken place.
Friends may sign the register book on Tuesday, November 2nd from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
The family suggests memorials to Emmanuel Chapel; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed in care of the David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, Kansas 67337.
