Rodney C. King, age 82, of Sedan, Kansas passed away Saturday, February 3, 2007 at his residence in Sedan.
He was born on April 12, 1924 in Carroll, Iowa to John Leo and Florence S. (Calhoun) King. He was raised in Sedan and graduated from the Sedan High School in 1942. He worked at the courthouse in the Tag office. He quit when his brother was killed in action during World War II. He never married.
He was always interested in predicting sports scores and the weather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 12, 2007 at the Greenwood Cemetery in Sedan with Reverend Jerry Bever officiating.
