Barbara Kay Lemos, age 69, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021, at St. John Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Barbara was born on June 4, 1952, in Coffeyville, Kansas to Margarite Moore. She grew up in Coffeyville where she attended school and graduated from Field Kindley High School. In 1969 she was united in marriage to Robert Daily. The couple made their home in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. Of that union a son, Darin was born. The couple later divorced in 1978. In January of 1983 she married the love of her life, Charles A. "Chuck" Lemos. They made their home in Coffeyville. From this union a son, Antonio was born. Chuck preceded her in death on July 12, 2002. In addition to taking care of her family and home, Barbara worked at Med-Econ Pharmacy located inside the V&S Family Center in Coffeyville for over 25 years. She was adored by all that knew her, including friends, co-workers and the customers she served. Barbara enjoyed cooking, she loved animals, especially dogs. She cherished the time she spent with her sons, grandkids and great grandkids. Surviving to cherish her memory her sons, Darin Daily and wife, April of Coffeyville, Kansas, Antonio Lemos and companion, Ashley Howard of Coffeyville, Kansas; grandchildren, Isabella Daily, Austin Riley, Kaden, Kaylea and Essence Lemos; great grandchildren, Madelyn and Thea Riley; sisters, Melody, and Janet Wadkins of Tennessee along with numerous extended family and close friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Margarite Moore; loving husband, Chuck Lemos; and brothers, Lonnie Brown and Larry Brown Following Barbara's wishes, cremation will take place under the direction of David W Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. No public service are scheduled at this time. The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the Coffeyville Friends of Animals; these may be left with the funeral home or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home 306 N. Cline Rd. Coffeyville, KS 67337.
