Obituary of Cynthia Ann Mangels

Cynthia Ann Mangels, age 67, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at PAM Health Specialty Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Cynthia was born on November 12, 1954, in Coffeyville, Kansas to Billie "Bill" and Doris (Bronnenberg) Hilton. She grew up in Coffeyville where she attended local schools and graduated from Field Kindly Memorial High School in 1972.
On August 11, 1973, she married the love of her life, Glen Mangels at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Coffeyville, Kansas. The couple made their home in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. In addition to taking care of the house and her family, through the years she worked for Green Acres, Dr. Dobbins office, Welch State Bank and Westco Furnishings as a manager for several years.
Cynthia was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Coffeyville and Redeemer Lutheran Church in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Some of her hobbies included crafting, sewing, jewelry making, painting, swimming and most of all spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Glen Mangels of the home, children, Grant Mangels and wife, Melissa of Omaha, Nebraska, Amanda Mangels of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Megan Likens and husband, David of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, grandchildren, Lily Oden, Piper Oden, Lowry Likens, Landry Likens, Evie Mangels, Annie Mangels and Allie Mangels, brothers, Robert 'Bob' Hilton and wife, Venice of Coffeyville, Kansas, Richard Hilton and wife, Patricia of Wann, Oklahoma, John Hilton and wife, Teal of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma along with numerous extended relatives and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Doris Hilton and by her daughter, Amy Jean Mangels.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Coffeyville. Pastor William Shupe of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Bartlesville, Oklahoma will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Washington Cemtery in Lenapah, Oklahoma.
Friends may call on Wednesday, December 15th from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. The family will greet friends on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to Mary and Martha Outreach or Lutheran Braille Workers; these may be left with the funeral home or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home 306 N. Cline Rd. Coffeyville, KS 67337.
