George E. Bonham, Jr., 75, of Coffeyville passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Landmark Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. He was born on August 16, 1946, in Coffeyville to George P. and Bonnie M. (Warden) Bonham. George grew up and attended school in Coffeyville graduating from Field Kindley High School. Following high school, he studied drafting at Coffeyville Junior College. On February 6, 1993, he married Teresa Pippin at the Brown Mansion in Coffeyville. Following their marriage, they made their home in Coffeyville. George was employed by Union Pacific Railroad as a Carman for 47 years. He was a member of NRA, a member of the Coffeyville Shooting Club, and enjoyed collecting guns, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Teresa Bonham of the home; his children, Zachary Bonham and wife, Shiann, Krissy Cline, and Tiffany Nevin and husband, Tim Farmer all of Coffeyville; his sister, Teresa Miller and husband, Billy of Coffeyville and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call on Monday, December 27th from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. A Private Family service will be held with burial to follow in the Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville. The family suggests memorials to St. Paul's Episcopal Church; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
