Obituary of Yvonne Ann (Hyde) Hoenshell

Yvonne Ann (Hyde) Hoenshell, age 56, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center in Coffeyville, Kansas. Yvonne was born on January 29, 1966, in Batavia, New York to Bernard “Bernie” and Sharon (Ehrhart) Hyde. She grew up in Coffeyville where she attended local school and graduated from Field Kindley Memorial High School. She enjoyed playing Bingo and would go every Monday evening with her mom, Sharon. She also loved children and enjoyed caring for them. Throughout the years she worked at various places in Coffeyville that included, housekeeping at local hotels, Western Publishing, CRMC in housekeeping, and for a time she was a nanny taking care of children. Yvonne attended church at First Southern Baptist Church in Coffeyville. On August 2, 2000, she was united in marriage to Buel Hoenshell in Coffeyville, Kansas. The couple made their home in Coffeyville. Yvonne had a son from a previous relationship, Brandon; Buel had a daughter from a previous relationship, Sheba and together they had their son, Dakota. She loved helping take care of their family and she especially loved spending quality time with the people she loved. Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband, Buel Hoenshell, sons, Brandon Hyde and Dakota Hoenshell all of Coffeyville, Kansas, step-daughter, Sheba Huston and husband, Henery, step granddaughters, Deserea and Alexis Huston, mother, Sharon Hyde of Coffeyville, sister Cristal Uluer and husband, Levent of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and a brother, Ronald Hyde of Coffeyville, Kansas, nieces, Erin Adams and husband, Jamal, Hali Titus and three great nieces. Yvonne was preceded in death by her father, Bernie Hyde in 2009 and by her paternal and maternal grandparents. Following Yvonne’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of David W Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. A Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to "Mosaic in Southeast Kansas"; these may be left with the funeral home or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home 306 N. Cline Rd.
