Obituary of Dee Gonsalves

Diantha Ann Gonsalves age 82 of rural Coffeyville, and formerly of California passed away at her home on June 12, 2022. Dee as she was known by those who loved her was born on May 29, 1940 in Los Angeles, CA to Joseph and Elizabeth (Tucker) Revolinsky. At the age of 17 ,Dee moved to the Bay area and through the years she resided in Manteca, CA before making her home here in Coffeyville in 2018. Dee was united in marriage to Trines Head and the couple later divorced .She then married Albert Gonsalves and he preceded her in death in 2009. , Dee was blessed with two sons and a daughter from her first marriage. She was a lifelong cosmetologist and mother. She enjoyed attending meetings of the Red Hat Society, Moose Lodge, VFW, and various poker Clubs. She loved to play poker and enjoyed the time spent with her poker friends. She attended the Presbyterian Church in Manteca. She loved horses and animals and was a true Dallas Cowboy fan! Dee was a truly talented artist, seamstress, and a heck of a cook. Dee's memories will live on with her children; Theresa Tucker and her husband Vern of Tracy, CA, Trines Head and his wife Sheri of Coffeyville, KS, and Joe Gonsalves and his wife Lenore of San Jose, CA, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She now rests with her parents and her husband Albert. Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Robbins Cemetery West of Coffeyville at 10:00am with Pastor Diane Massey officiating. The family will greet friends on Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at David W. Barnes Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorials be made payable to the Coffeyville Friends of Animals and they may be left with or sent in care of David W.
