Craig E. LeRoy age 68 formerly of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022 at AMG Via Christi-St Francis in Wichita, Kansas. Craig was born on October 17, 1953 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to James LeRoy and Zelda (Reedy) Hosbrough. He graduated high school in Newkirk, Oklahoma. On December 6, 1990 he was united in marriage to Genia Tackkett in Fredonia, Kansas. The couple made their home in Fredonia, Kansas until 1994 when they moved to Wichita, Kansas where they currently reside. Craig worked for AT&T as a supply’s attendant for many years. He enjoyed computers, reading, and collecting and shooting guns. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Surviving to honor his memory are his loving wife, Genia LeRoy of the home, children, Cherie Glasgow (Russell) of Salem, Oregon, Jonelle Stevens (Michael) of Valley Center, Kansas, Craig LeRoy, Jr. of Overland Park, Kansas, six grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, sister, Phyllis Gill of Florissant, Missouri, a niece, 2 nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, and a nephew. Following Craig’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville, Kansas. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Veteran’s Patio in Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville. Private inurnment will take place in Fairview Cemetery.
