Sue Ann Lester passed away unexpectedly at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center on October 23, 2022. She was 70 years old. Sue is survived by her loving husband Calvin Lester and two Daughters Carlena Lester of Coffeyville and Melinda Lochner and husband Mike of Dearing and her brother Bobby Pomrenke and wife Lita of Carl Junction. She was preceded in death by her parents Bud and Ruby Pomrenke of Coffeyville. She was born on December 17, 1951 in Coffeyville KS. She spent her life growing up in Coffeyville and Graduated from Field Kindley High School in 1970. Sue later married Calvin Lester on September 20, 1974. They welcomed Carlena in 1976 and Melinda in 1978. She lived a wonderful life in Coffeyville where she raised her family and loved watching her grandkids Jacob, Mason and Makya grow up. Sue loved doing crafts, fishing, and most of all spending time with her grandkids. Once Calvin retired in 2013 they made their new home in Grove, Ok where she got to enjoy fishing and living on the lake. Graveside memorial services will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Veteran's Memorial Patio at Fairview Cemetery 2602 Woodland Ave. Coffeyville. Her great-nephew Zack Hand will officiate the service. The family suggests memorials contributions can be sent to Davis W.
