Obituary of JanNeil Leigh Davis Clarkson

JanNeil Leigh Davis Clarkson age 43 of Neodesha, KS. Passed away peacefully after a short illness surrounded by family at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville on October 29, 2022. JanNeil was born on December 8, 1978 in Coffeyville, KS to Neil and Barbara Davis. She grew up in both Neodesha and Caney, KS. She graduated from Caney Valley High School with the class of ’97. She gave birth to Taylor Davis in 1995 and Jayden Ross in 1999. JanNeil married Darin Clarkson in 2016 in Neodesha, he survives at his home in Afton, OK. JanNeil worked many years at Cobalt Boats in Research and Development, Neodesha City Parks as a supervisor and Neodesha Lumber as a manager. She studied Human Services Bachelor of Science at Post University. She was a baptized member of Christ Church in Neodesha. JanNeil’s memories will live on with her husband Darin, her parents Neil and Barb Davis of Neodesha, daughter Taylor Davis and granddaughter Kairi Ann of Neodesha, son Jayden Ross of Neodesha, her sister Christi (Rick) Heatly of Neodesha, her brother Derek (Kim) Davis of Cherryvale, 8 nieces and nephews, Lizzy, Nicholas, Becca Heatly of Neodesha, Bentley, Alec, Joei, Evelynn, and TyLeigh Davis of Cherryvale, grandparents: Lois Durst of Neodesha, and Mick and Shirely Davis of Caney. She now rests with her grandfather Glen Durst, aunt Nancy Finney, great-grandparents, Mick and Adelena Edens, and Dee and Martha Ross. Honoring JanNeil’s wishes cremation has taken place under the direction David W. Barnes Funeral Home and the family will host a memorial service on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 2:00pm at Christ Church in Neodesha, KS with Pastor Gary Lambert officiating.
