Obituary of Ashia LaVonne Sparks
Please share a memory of Ashia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Ashia LaVonne Sparks was unexpectedly called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at the age of 27.
Ashia was born on January 19, 1995, in Coffeyville, Kansas to Lloyd and Jiffie Mae (Lawrence) Sparks. She grew up in Coffeyville where she attended local schools and graduated from Field Kindley High School. Ashia was beautiful inside and out; she was kind, caring, patient and loyal. For the past two years she has worked at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. She began in dietary then transferred to Admissions where she was a coordinator.
Ashia could be the typical girly girl who loved make-up, clothes, shopping, and decorating. She was also a tomboy who liked to go fishing, wasn’t afraid to wrestle or get dirty, and could keep up with the boys. Ashia loved her family and friends and the time she spent with them. Above all she loved being a mom to her beautiful daughter, Trinity. She did an amazing job of teaching Trinity and set good examples for her. Ashia loved spending time with her daughter, her mother, her family and her many friends.
Surviving to cherish her memory is her father, Lloyd Sparks of Barstow, California, her mother, Jiffie Sweeney, her stepfather Anthony Sweeney both of Coffeyville, Kansas, her daughter, Trinity Sparks of the home; her brothers, Tarell Sparks, Calvin Sparks and wife, Ceres, a sister, Brenda Noblitt all of Coffeyville, Kansas, step brothers, Calvin Jennings, Shaymon Wesley, Sir Anthony Sweeney, Anthony Sweeney III, Tremane Sweeney, step-sister, Lorana Delgado, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended relatives and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, by her maternal grandparents, Eddie and Valder Lawrence and by her uncle David Lawrence.
