Robert W. Simpson
Robert Simpson, age 18, of Peru, Kansas passed away Monday evening, November 13, 2006 at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center in Coffeyville, Kansas.
He was born April 9, 1988 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Donald and Krystlle (Hadley) Simpson. He lived in the Peru area all of his life and attended Sedan School where he was a Senior in High School.
He was a member of the Future Farmers of America and he loved Nascar and the Dukes of Hazzard and he especially liked the outdoors and anything that had to do with Indians!
He is survived by his father, Donald Simpson and his step-mother Marilyn of the home in Peru, Kansas; his mother, Krystlle Cress and his step-father John of Arkansas; two brothers, Donnie and Charlie Simpson, both of Peru, Kansas; three sisters, Ashley Simpson of Peru, Kansas, Krysten Hutchison of Owasso, Oklahoma and Shiann Hadley of Noel, Missouri; Paternal Grandparents, Art and Betty Holmberg of Caney, Kansas; Maternal Grandparents, Walt and Scotty Lenertz of Coldwater, Kansas, and Gary and Frieda Hadley of Indianola, Iowa; Step maternal Grandparents, Ray and Melody Wolfe of Rural Sedan, and Edna Peel of Sedan, Kansas.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 16, 2006 at the Peru Cemetery in Peru, Kansas with Pastor Dan DeWitt of the Caney First Baptist Church officiating.
Friends may sign the register from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Sedan, Kansas. The casket will be closed.
The family has suggested memorial contributions to the FFA Wheelchair Fund and these remembrances may be left at the funeral home.
