Cheryl Lynn Leonard-Wade, age 47, of Cedar Vale, Kansas passed away Thursday, November 2, 2006 at her home in Cedar Vale.
She was born August 24, 1959 in Kentucky to Leo Glen and Shirley (Denny) Leonard. She attended Charles Paige High School in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. She married Ronnie Lewis Wade on June 29, 1978 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. They later divorced. She moved back to the Chautauqua area in 1993.
She is survived by two sons, Morgan Wade of Ellsworth, Kansas and Daniel Wade of Cedar Vale, Kansas; two daughters, Jennifer Wade of Los Angeles, California and Kimber-Lee Wade of Harper, Kansas; two brothers, Pat Leonard of Cedar Vale, Kansas and Glen Leonard of Depew, Oklahoma and two grandchildren, Patrick Fitzgerald Wade and Jordan Wade.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at the Wauneta United Methodist Church in Wauneta, Kansas with Reverend Paul Stetz officiating. Burial will follow at the Leonard Family Cemetery in Cedar Vale, Kansas.
Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Sedan.
