Joann Daniels, 60, of Coffeyville, passed away Saturday morning (October 21, 2006) at her son's home in Ottawa.
She was born September 6, 1946 at Monroe, LA to Leonard and Elizabeth (Capeas) Goldsmith. She moved to Coffeyville with her family where she grew up and attended school graduating from Field Kindley High School and attending Coffeyville Community College.
In 1964 she married George Daniels at Wichita. Mr. Daniels preceded her in death in 1981.
Joann was formerly a C.N.A. at Windsor Place and Sunnyview Nursing Homes. She attended the Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Marcus Daniels of Coffeyville; one daughter, Charlotte Daniels of Coffeyville; one sister Claretha Wooten of Coffeyville; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday (October 26, 2006) in the Sardis Baptist Church with Rev. Virgil Horn officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
