Sedan - Kay Jeanette Barnett, 77 of Sedan, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at the Pleasant Valley Manor in Sedan.
She was born June 26, 1936 in Elgin, Kansas to Rudolph Barnett and Beatrice Beulah Fuller. She lived in many parts of Kansas but spent most of her life in Chautauqua County. She lived the last couple of years at the Pleasant Valley Manor in Sedan.
Kay enjoyed reading magazines and watching televison.
Kay is survived by numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by one sister and her parents.
Graveside Services will be held Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Greenwood Cemetery in Sedan with Reverend Jerry Bever of the First United Methodist Church of Sedan officiating.
Family and friends may call on Friday, September 27, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Sedan.
