Obituary of Donna Kathryn Hopkins

Coffeyville - Donna Kathryn Hopkins, 33, of Cherryvale passed away Friday morning (October 6, 2006) at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. She was born August 27, 1973 at Hemsworth, England to Patrick and Christine (Bryan) Broughan. She grew up in Featherstone, England where she attended school. She moved to the United States 10 years ago, moving to Cherryvale three years ago. She was employed at a C.N.A. at the Cherryvale Care Center until becoming ill. Donna was a member of the Church of England. Survivors include two daughters, Katelyn Christine Mills and Sydney Leigh Hopkins both of Cherryvale, one son, Declan Patrick Triplet of Austin, TX; her parents, Patrick and Christine Broughan of Featherstone, England, three brothers, Sean Broughan, Glenn Broughan and Brenden Broughan all of Featherstone, England and one sister, Katie Broughan of Featherstone, England; special friend and care giver, Vince Hollandsworth of rural Havana and friends and care givers, Buddy and Jeannie Nelson of Cherryvale. A memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday (Oct. 9, 2006) in the Cherrvyale United Methodist Church, with Reverend Russell Anderson of Cherryvale United Methodist Church and Reverend Gerald Morris of Grace Fellowship in Coffeyville officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the North Featherstone Cemetery, Featherstone, England. The family suggests memorials to the Oncology Unit at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center, contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 N. Cline Rd., Coffeyville, Kansas 67337. Friends may sign the register book on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. David W.
