Obituary of Sara Coy

Coffeyville - Sara Kay Coy, 61, of Coffeyville passed away Friday morning (September 15, 2006) at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. She was born June 18, 1945 at Coffeyville to Frank Leslie and Lula Louise (Hannah) Foster. She grew up in the Coffeyville area attending school in Coffeyville and Caney. She married Donald Taylor and he preceded her in death, she later married Billie Coy and they were later divorced. When she was young she attended the Salvation Army. She was a former employee of Acme Foundry and Jan-L's Flowers. Survivors include one granddaughter, Kara Lynn Taylor of Coffeyville; five brothers, David Foster, Edward Foster, Homer Foster, Jimmy Foster, and John T. Foster; four sisters, Audrey L. Budd of Rock Springs, WY, Mary L. Frost, Margie H. Rowe and Sharon McNeal. She was preceded in death by one son, William Roger Taylor and one brother Leslie Foster. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville. Friends may sign the register book from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. The family suggests memorials to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
