Ted Peyton, 54, of Coffeyville passed away Tuesday (July 18, 2006) at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK.
He was born January 28, 1952 at Independence, Kansas to Lloyd and Grace (Mathis) Peyton. He grew up in the Coffeyville area attending school at Liberty, Coffeyville and Cherryvale.
He married Karen Padley and they were later divorced.
He attended the First Assembly of God.
Survivors include one daughter Susan of Cherryvale, five brothers, Ralph Peyton, Johnnie Peyton, Roger Peyton and James Peyton all of Coffeyville, Jerry Peyton of South Coffeyville, OK; and one sister Darlene Inman of Coffeyville. He was preceded in death by one son Bruce.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday in the Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville.
Friends may call on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
