Sedan- Mitzi Lynn McKinley, 57, of Cedar Vale, Kansas passed away Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Via Christi-St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. She was born August 30, 1956 in Encino, California to Newton E. Myers and Shirley L. (Call) Myers. She graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Granada Hills, California. She later moved to Cedar Vale, Kansas and has made her home there since 1980. On August 3, 1981 she married John McKinley in Cedar Vale, Kansas. She worked as a self-employed bookkeeper for many years and also was the manager of the Cedar Apartments for over twenty years. Survivors include her husband, John McKinley of Cedar Vale, Kansas; one son, John Humphrey of Dallas, Texas; three daughters, Debbie Stone of Cedar Vale, Kansas, Amber Corbett and husband Andy of Salina, Oklahoma, and Katie Boyle and husband Brandon of Cedar Vale, Kansas; her mother, Shirley Myers of Sedan, Kansas; one brother, Mark Myers and wife Lynn of Auburn, California and ten grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Newton Myers and one grandson. Cremation has taken place and a Graveside Memorial Service will be held, Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Greenwood Cemetery in Sedan with Father Marcus Cunningham of the Episcopal Epiphany Church officiating.
