Sedan - Kenneth Dean Webb, 82, of Sedan, died Friday (August 30, 2013) at the Pleasant Valley Manor in Sedan. He was born July 19, 1931 in Sedan, Kansas to Francis Dean Webb and Grace E. Morton. He graduated from Sedan High School in the Class of 1949. After High School, in 1951, he enlisted in the United States Navy where he served his country until being honorably discharged in 1955. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and worked many years in New Orleans, Louisiana before coming back to Sedan to work as the accountant at the Sedan City Hospital until he retired. He played the trombone in several bands throughout the years; He liked Jazz music and Big Band Music. Survivors include several nieces and nephews and many friends and family. He was preceded in death by one sister, Elaine Keeny, one brother, Ronnie Webb, and his parents. A Memorial Service will be Saturday (September 14, 2013) at 10:00 a.m. at the Greenwood Cemetery in Sedan with Reverend John Warring of the First Christian Church officiating. Private Inurnment will follow at a later date at the Greenwood Cemetery in Sedan. Friends may sign the register book on Friday, September 13, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Sedan.
