Sedan- Kenneth Ray Jennings, 81, of Sedan, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Pleasant Valley Manor in Sedan. He was born August 24, 1931 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to James Elra Jennings and Carrie (Slate) Jennings. He attended schools in Arkansas and Missouri. He worked different jobs throughout his lifetime and retired as a laborer for a Coil Manufacturing Plant. He lived in Missouri for most of his adult life before moving to Sedan in 2009. He enjoyed bird watching, animal watching, and growing flowers. Survivors include one daughter, Chris Shore and husband Cecil of Cedar Vale, Kansas; four sons, Kenneth Ray Jennings Jr., Arlin Phillip Jennings, Robert Dale Jennings, and Howard Travis Jennings; one brother Clarence Jennings of Springdale, Arkansas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother James Jennings. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at The First Baptist Church in Cedar Vale, Kansas at a later date. The family suggests memorials to American Heart Association, or American Cancer Society; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W.
