Michelle LeAnn Davis, 46, of Andrews, TX, lost her battle with cancer on August 10, 2013 at her home.
Michelle was born to Jimmy and Betty (Ross) Davis on March 3, 1967 in Sedan, KS. She attended Field Kinley High School in Coffeyville, KS. She started earning her Associate's Degree in Psychology from Coffeyville Community College, but finished at Texas A & M University in Kingsville where she started working on her Bachelor's Degree. She also made a career as being an Electrician's Helper, but devoted her life to being a wonderful mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents; Dee and Martha Ross and James and Dovea Davis.
She is survived by three children; Brandi Flores and husband Nathaniel of Andrews, Colton Kross Davis of Andrews, and Jayde McKenzie Davis of Andrews, two grandchildren; Eva and Sophia Flores of Andrews, her parents; Jimmy and Betty Davis of Independence, KS, one brother; Stephen Davis of Coffeyville, KS, one sister; Jeanette Davis of Andrews, one niece; Sara Ruiz and one nephew; Tyler Ruiz both of Andrews.
A memorial service will be held at 9 AM on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at the Second Baptist Church in Andrews.
A Memorial Graveside service celebrating Michelle's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Jefferson Cemetery in Independence, KS, with Rev. Jerry Bever of the First United Methodist Church in Sedan officiating, under the direction of David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
The family would like to send a special thanks to the people of Andrews who devoted time to her care, the staff of Home Hospice of Andrews, as well as the generosity of the staff at Neighborhood Pharmacy.
