Obituary of Marge Miranda

Coffeyville - Marge Ann Miranda, 86, of Coffeyville passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. She was born August 28, 1926 at Coffeyville to Paul C. and Gladys Lucille (Wallace) Shaw. Marge grew up and attended school in Coffeyville graduating from Field Kindley High School. On February 28, 1948 she married Daniel A. Miranda at Coffeyville. Following their marriage they made their home Coffeyville until moving to California where they lived for many years, later moving to Albuquerque, NM where they lived until returning to Coffeyville. She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Daniel Miranda of the home; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Paul Shaw, Jr., and Jimmie Shaw; and three sisters, Joie Harkins, Jeanie Cranor, and Billie Leach. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 2, 2013 at Calvary Cemetery in Coffeyville with Father Ben Nguyen officiating. Friends may call on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the David W Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
