Coffeyville - Jacquelyn Mae "Jacque" Trotter, 72, of Coffeyville, KS, passed away on July 6th 2013, at her home in the presence of her family. A Graveside Memorial Service Celebrating Jacque's life will be held at the Fairview Cemetery Veterans Memorial Patio on Thursday, July 11th at 10:00 AM with Rev. Richard Peckman of St. Paul's Lutheran Church officiating. Private family inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery Following the service the family requests your presence at their home 605 W. 6TH Street. Funeral arrangements are being handled by David W. Barnes Funeral Home. Jacquelyn was born in Cedar Vale , KS on December 24th, 1941 to Louis Jack and Mildred (Bray) Sanders. She grew up and attended school in Coffeyville, graduating from Field Kindley High School. On January 10th, 1959 Jacquelyn married Larry Trotter at Coffeyville. Following their marriage they made their home in Missouri until returning to Coffeyville in 1995. They were married for 54 years. Jacquelyn is survived by her husband, Larry Trotter of the home; two sons, Bryan Trotter and wife Christi of Coffeyville, and David Trotter of Orange County, California. Three Granddaughters, Natalie Lakey and husband Glenn Lakey of Coffeyville, Nicole Rexwinkle of Coffeyville, Brittany Bonnie and husband of Blue Springs, MO, one grandson, Austin Trotter of Coffeyville . Five great-granddaughters, Breanna Flanders, Addison & Allie Mae Rexwinkle, Payton Bonnie and Mecaela Lakey, one great grandson Bentley Lakey; one brother, Donald Sanders of San Diego, CA; and two sisters, Carolyn Davis of Fort Worth, TX, and Deloris Jean Hawkins of Tulsa, OK. Jacquelyn is preceded in death by her parents Louis & Mildred Sanders. Friend may sign the register book on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. The family suggests memorials donations may be given to the Brown Mansion or the Dalton Defenders Museum; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
