Georgia Diane Crow, 58, of Coffeyville passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, OK.
She was born March 9, 1955 at Coffeyville to George Conard and Minnie (Kerns) Buie. She grew up and attended school in Coffeyville.
On July 13, 1973 she married Vander Charles Crow, Sr. at Miami, OK. Following their marriage they made their home in Coffeyville. Georgia worked at Hardees for 17 years, then worked at Daylight Donuts for 11 years until September 2012 when she retired due to her health.
Georgia loved spending time with her grandchildren, and having family get togethers.
Survivors include her loving husband of 40 years, Vander Crow, Sr.; one son Conrad Lee Crow of Coffeyville; two step-daughters, Karen Ubanks, of Wann, OK, and Diana Thomas of South Coffeyville, OK; one step-son, Vander Crow, Jr. of Coffeyville; seven brothers, Rick Buie, Bob Buie, and Jim Romines all of Coffeyville, Rodger Buie of Parsons, Robert Buie of Independence, Greg Buie of Vinita, OK, and Kay Buie of Osawatomie; three sisters Brenda Swafford of Parsons, Linda Jones of Rogers, AR, and Carol Hoover of Coffeyville; ten grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Following Georgia's wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
Georgia's wish for memorials in her memory is the benefit of becoming organ donors and transplant awareness.
