Obituary of Tillie Rivera

Coffeyville - Otillia "Tillie" Rivera, 79 of Coffeyville, passed away Thursday June 13, 2013 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. She was born on May 4, 1935 to Maximo and Angelita (Orduno) Fernandez in Los Angeles, CA. Tillie grew up in L.A, before moving to Coffeyville in 1983. She married Ruben Rivera, he precedes her in death. She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church. She enjoyed watching Syfy shows, she loved cooking for her family and her dog MIkey. Survivors include, four children; Ernest Adame of Coffeyville, Frank Adame of North Carolina, Angela Alvarado of California and Edward Adame of Oklahoma; two sisters, Isabel and Frances; seven brothers, Joaquin, Albert, Mike, Fred, Manuel and Alfred; twelve grandchildren and twenty two great-grandchildren with one on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons; Miquel Adame and Salvador Adame. Prayer Vigil will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at the Veteran's Patio located in Fairview Cemetery, with Father Ben Nyugen officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at David W. Barnes Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
