Obituary of Faye Morris

Coffeyville - Faye Marie Morris, 79, a lifelong Caney resident, passed away Saturday night, April 12, 2008, at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, OK. She was born October 9, 1928, at Caney to Jerome Edward and Esta (Mitchell) Boles. She grew up and attended school in Caney graduating Caney High School. On October 11, 1946, she married Jack A. Morris at Caney. Following their marriage they made their home in Caney. Mrs. Morris was a homemaker and helped her husband at their business Jack Morris Phillips 66 Service Station located at the corner of 4th and High Streets which they operated for over 30 years. Mrs. Morris was a member of the Caney United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Jack of the home; one daughter, Jana Lea Parker of Caney; one son, Farley Brent Morris of Caney; one brother, Bill Boles of Caney; two sisters, Dora Ann Wyman of Bartlesville, OK and Darla Tucker of Jenks, OK; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2008 in the Caney United Methodist Church in Caney. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Caney. Friends may sign the register book on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. The casket will be closed. The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W.
