Obituary of Leo Glenn Leonard

Sedan- Leo Glenn Leonard III, age 58, of rural Sedan passed away Friday, June 7, 2013 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice Care in Wichita, Kansas. He was born June 9, 1954 in South West City, Missouri to Leo Glenn Leonard Jr. and Shirley Viola (Denny) Leonard. He was raised and attended school in Pawhuska, Oklahoma and later graduated from Wynona High School in Wynona, Oklahoma. On June 7, 1992 he married Carolyn V. Green in Berryhill, Oklahoma. They have lived in the Sedan area for about five years and have been around for many years. He worked as a ranch hand for his brother at the Rocking L Ranch in rural Sedan, Kansas until his sickness. He was an avid hunter and fisherman; he loved his family and especially loved his wife. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Leonard of the home; one son, Leo Glenn Leonard IV of Wichita, Kansas; four stepchildren, Jimmy Polm of Carrollton, Texas, Randy Polm of Rural Sedan, Kansas, Mindy Polm of Cushing, Oklahoma, and Charla Clark of Cushing, Oklahoma; one brother Patrick Leonard and wife Twila of Paola, Kansas; grandson, Jessie Dale Polm-Ross, and numerous family and friends. He was preceded in death by one sister, Cheryl Lynn Wade and his parents. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
