Coffeyville - Marjorie L. "Marge" Percival, 90, of Coffeyville passed away Monday, May 20, 2013 at her home. She was born August 29, 1922 at St. Paul, KS to Fletcher Otto and Irma (McFadden) Havely. Marge grew up and attended school in the St. Paul area and graduated from St. Francis Catholic High School in St. Paul. On May 6, 1945 she married Walter H. "Walt" Percival at Glendale, CA. After their marriage they made their home in Salina, Ks until moving to Coffeyville in 1965. Marge assisted her husband at P and B Meats and later Union Street Meats; she also worked at J.C. Penney's for several years. Her husband preceded her in death on June 1, 1995. Marge was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church, and Altar Society. Walt and Marge belonged to a Dance Club for many years, and she enjoyed playing Bridge. Survivors include three daughters, Sharon Abrigo and husband Reginald of Waialua, HI, Nancy Walters and husband Ned of Joplin, MO, and Chris Zimmerman of Galena, KS; one son, Jim Percival of Coffeyville; three sisters, Dottie Cole of Salina, KS, Rae Banks of Glendale, CA, and Willa Findley of Andover, KS; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, and three sisters. A Rosary Vigil Service will be at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Coffeyville. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Holy Name Catholic Church with Father Ben Nguyen officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Coffeyville. Friends may call on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. The family suggests memorials to Holy Name Catholic Church; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
