Tony R. Banzet, 57, of Edna, KS, passed away Friday, January 11, 2013, at his home in Edna.
He was born March 31, 1955, at Coffeyville to Howard Verl and Ruth Elzada (McCorkle) Banzet. Tony grew up and attended school in Labette County and graduated from Labette County High School.
Throughout his life, Tony worked as a mechanic, handyman, and ranch hand. He was a beekeeper and loved helping others in the Edna community.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Edna, and was a member of Borderline Productions a historical reenactment group for several years.
Survivors include several cousins, and many friends.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Edna with Rev. Charles Evans officiating. Burial will be in Lake Creek Cemetery west of Bartlett, KS.
Friends may call on Friday, January 18, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
