Obituary of Angeline M. Rowe

Sedan- Angeline "Angy" Madeline Rowe, 92 of Sedan passed away on Friday, January 4, 2012 at the Sedan City Hospital in Sedan, Kansas. Angy was born on September 17, 1920 in Ralston, NE to Michael and Teresa (Pagana) Fucinaro. She married Paul L. Rowe in 1944 where they made their home in Sedan. She worked for Dr. Melvin Rees D.C. in his chiropractor office for many years and traveled the world as a member of the ISHO and SORSI groups as she learned and taught many people using this method of chiropractic work. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Rowe on November 29, 2004. Angy was a member of Epiphany Episcopal Church, she sang in the choir, was a Sunday school teacher, and was a member of the St. Agnes Guild, Lions club, Chamber of Commerce, VFW Auxillary, Rebekah Lodge, ISHO, and SORSI. She also helped with Boy Scouts and volunteered at the Emmett Kelly Museum. In addition, she was active in numerous social and civic functions. She is survived by one son; Michael Rees of Fort Wayne, Indiana and one daughter Deborah Lamb of Kentucky; three sisters, Louise Galloway of Omaha, Nebraska, Loretta Gomez of Omaha, Nebraska, and Nancy Rembolt of Arizona; grandchildren: Nathan, Brandon, Darron, Kristen, Austin, Heather, Anne Marie, Sara Grace, Kennedy, Payton, Cameron, and Megan; and great grandchildren: Dawson, Nate, and Savanna. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, and three sisters. Family and friends may call on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Sedan with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Epiphany Episcopal Church in Sedan with Father Marcus Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Sedan. Memorials have been suggested to Epiphany Episcopal Church Discretionary Fund or the VFW Auxiliary 6373 and contributions may be left in care of the David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 209 N. Douglas, Sedan, Kansas 67361.
