Obituary of Shirley Nutter

Coffeyville - Shirley Nutter, 80, of Coffeyville, passed away Thursday January 3, 2012 at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, OK. She was born on September 25, 1932 to Albert and Lorraine (Carnell) Duncan in Edna, KS. She grew up and attended school in Edna, and graduated from Valeda High School. She married Bill Nutter, who precedes her in death. Shirley worked at ACC in Independence for 30 years, she later retired. She enjoyed gardening, being outside and reading. She is survived by one daughter; Saundra "Sandy" Willis and husband Ben of Coffeyville, one son; Randy Duncan of Coffeyville, one sister; Wilma Manley of Hoisington, KS., three grandchildren; Scott Willis of MO, Kevin Willis of MO, and Trisha Vineyard of Shaw AFB, SC; four great-grandchildren; two nieces, one nephew; and two great-nieces and one great-newphew. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two brothers; Dean Duncan and Melvin Duncan. Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
