Obituary of Sallie M. Bullock

Sedan - Sallie M. Bullock, 100, of Sedan, Kansas (formerly of Jones County, Mississippi) passed away Friday, December 7, 2012 at Pleasant Valley Manor in Sedan. She was born September 14, 1912 in Jones County, Mississippi to Timothy E. Graham and Julie Ann (Hinton) Graham. She grew up in Jones County, Mississippi where she graduated from high school. In 1932 she married Jim W. Bullock and they made their home in Mississippi for many years. She worked as a clerk for many stores and also made fish traps for many fishermen for a lot of years. In 1985 her husband preceded her in death. She later moved in with her daughter in 2009 in rural Pawhuska, Oklahoma, before moving into Pleasant Valley Manor in 2010. Mary was a past member of the First Baptist Church in Sharon, Mississippi. Survivors include her daughter; Sylvia St. John and husband Roy of rural Pawhuska, Oklahoma; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son Shelby Jay Bullock and her parents. Church services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Sharon, Mississippi. Burial will follow at the Sharon Cemetery in Sharon, Mississippi.
