Dale Wayne McCord, 56, of South Coffeyville, OK, passed away Monday, November 11, 2013, at his home.
He was born September 13, 1957, at Coffeyville, to Wilbur H. "Jim" and Bonnie Jean (Morrow) McCord. Dale grew up and attended school in Edna and Coffeyville.
On November 20, 1986, he married Judy Foulk. They were later divorced.
On July 1, 2011, he married Cathy (Rohling) Fisher at their farm in rural South Coffeyville, OK.
Dale loved to spend time outdoors, hunting, fishing, working with his livestock and horses, going to rodeo's, and being with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy of the home; his children, Ronnie Wooten and wife Melody of Walnut Shade, MO, Melissa Wooten of Freeport, TX, Sean Fisher and wife Audrey of Wann, OK, Kristyn Reiman and husband Trevor of Wann, OK, Kimberly Fisher of Coffeyville, B.J. Brown of Coffeyville, and Amber Loffer and husband Rick of Coffeyville; his father, Wilbur H. "Jim" McCord and wife Barbara of Edna; his mother, Bonnie Schultz and husband Bud of rural South Coffeyville, OK; his brothers and sisters, Kenny Schultz and wife April, of Coffeyville, Carla Robson and husband Rodney of Coffeyville, Debbie Jo Mangels and husband Vince of rural South Coffeyville, OK, Kent McCord and wife Cindy of Odessa, TX, and Pamela George and husband Eric of Wann, OK; thirteen grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, Jason Wooten; and one brother, Gary Schultz.
Graveside Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2013 at the North Edna Cemetery in Edna, KS, with Pastor Jamie Regis.
Friends may call on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials to the South Coffeyville Fire Department; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
