Obituary of Patricia Dann

Coffeyville - Patricia Ann Dann, 80, of Parsons passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Cherryvale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Cherryvale. She was born June 16, 1932 in Coffeyville to Edward J. and Patricia (O'Connell) Lind. She attended Holy Name Catholic School, graduated from Field Kindley High School. After high school she continued her education by attending Coffeyville Community College. She was employed at Continental Can Co., Garvey Elevators in Wichita and Avco-Space Division in Tulsa. She married Tom Dann on February 24, 1968. They moved to Parsons in 1969. After marriage she was employed at Adventure Line, Dwaynes and KAAP in Parsons. They retired in 1993, after retirement they moved to Wilmington, NC. They later returned to Parsons in 2009. She is survived by her husband Tom Dann of the home; one sister, Julia Wadkins and husband Steve of Parsons; two brothers, Don Lind and wife Brenda of Coffeyville and Mike Lind and wife Jan of Broken Arrow, OK; two sisters-in-law, Louise Lind of Wichita and Elizabeth George of Wilmington, NC and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Catherine Borum and Dorothy Pope Davenport, and one brother, Edward A. Lind. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Holy Name Catholic Church with Father Ben Nguyen officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the Holy Name Catholic Church or the Breast Cancer Society; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W.
