Thomas Oneal Ehart, 75, of Coffeyville, passed away Monday, October 22, 2012 at his home.
He was born July 7, 1937 at Coffeyville to Lester and Bessie (Braden) Ehart. Thomas grew up and attended school in Coffeyville, graduating from Field Kindley High School.
On May 7, 1960 he married Lucille Roberts at Independence, KS. Following their marriage they made their home in Coffeyville where Thomas a longtime employee at Funk Mfg. Co. now Coffeyville John Deere Works for 28 years retiring 1994.
Thomas was a Christian, and enjoyed restoring and working on cars, and motorcycles. He enjoyed time spent with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Ehart of the home; one son, Tommy Oneal Ehart of Coffeyville; two grandchildren, Tara Fox, and Dustin Ehart both of Coffeyville and four great-grandchildren, Jadyn Fox, Hunter Fox, Kaylor Fox, and De'Adrian Ehart all of Coffeyville.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Restlawn Memorial Park in Coffeyville.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
The family suggests memorials to Coffeyville Friends of Animals; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home,306 North Cline Road,Coffeyville,KS 67337.
